About Buddhist Tourist Circuit Train
The Mahaparinirvan Express is a Buddhist tourism luxury train that takes passengers on an eight-day, seven-night spiritual tour that visits Buddhist sites across North India and Nepal.
The train gets its name from the famous Mahaparinirvana Sutta of Buddha. It is operated by Indian Railways and its extended arm IRCTC. The fully air-conditioned train offers three different classes of travel in the train; first class, first class coupe, and second class.

Itinerary
(Arrival) - Delhi - Gaya (990 kms)

- Gather at Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi to Board the Buddhist Circuit Tourist Train.
- The train departs for Gaya (1,100 km).

Gaya - Bodhgaya (16 kms)
Have a guided tour of Bodhgaya, the place where Siddharth Gautama attained enlightenment and became the Buddha.
- Morning tea, Breakfast, and freshen up on board.
- Arrive and depart for Bodhgaya in coach.
- Check in and relax in the hotel and sightseeing in Bodhgaya later.
